Company History
Parrett Storage is a family-run business based in the historic hamlet of Parrett Works. Parrett Works is the site of an old rope manufacturing factory. The beautiful hamstone mill buildings situated beside the River Parrett provide a pleasant environment to work and do business.
We set up our storage business in the front warehouse having acquired it in 1997. After a refit the building was adapted for self storage with units in different sizes over two levels. The business went from strength to strength and we were soon full. Two years later we acquired the rear warehouse and quickly filled that one as well! We are now at the start of yet another expansion.
Future Plans
The next phase of our development is to rejuvenate the neighbouring factory buildings, and rope walk which will give us a total of 5 warehouses on a site footprint that is now spread over 5 acres.
With upgraded security systems and a sophisticated access control system we feel our facilities offer a modern approach to secure and safe self-storage.
